Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I am not clear on how it compares to cable

A: Way better in many aspects and not as good in a few like live TV but movies and TV shows, NetFlix and all of those streaming services comes in in HD and looks great.

The firestick & android box allow you access to amazon, netflix and so on if you have accounts for those services... but the Kodi app (as well as the other Android Streaming apps that are installed) is what allows you to watch most of the free stuff...

Q: So you have to have an Amazon and Netflix account

A: If you purchase the firestick, it is advised to get an amazon account of your own (we use a temporary account so you can try the different apps) but you don't need anything else like Hulu or Netflix accounts. If you purchase the android box, no accounts are necessary.

Q: I would like to get rid of cable can I do that with this

A: Yes for the most part... I'd say try one and play with it to see if you are satisfied with it before you cut the cord permanently.

Q: I tried to use an app and the remote doesn't work?

A: (For firesticks) You need to run the mouse toggle app first. It is an app that looks like a white circle with 2 circular arrows inside of it. Once you have run that app, then click the play button twice and you should see a transparent circle. This is your "mouse" or finger... you can move this with the navigation keys around the select button and that will allow you to use apps that are made to be used with a touch screen. Hit the play button twice again to turn "mouse" mode off.

(Android Box) Hit the arrow key to the lower left of the control pad to toggle mouse mode on and off.

Q: What other streaming apps beside Kodi do you offer?

A: TyphoonTV, BeeTV, CinemaHD, Cyberflix, TeaTV, FreeFlix, LiveNetTV, RedboxTV, and TVZion... apps may change as they become obsolete and others become more viable
